About

I'm Francis Lillie, and Silicon Wizardry is my indie game studio.

From around the age of 10, in the early 1980s, I realised I loved programming and I loved games. I wrote games professionally part-time from 16 to 18, then full-time from 18 to 31, and kept going part-time for five more years after that: at The Dome, East Point Software, Promethean Designs, Graphic State and as a freelancer.

Along the way I worked on 40 games across 13 platforms, from the Amiga and Mega Drive to the PlayStation, Game Boy Advance and Wii. 31 of them were published. The pedigree page lists every one, with the story behind each.

Silicon Wizardry is where I make my own games now: new titles for the machines I grew up on, alongside modern releases for Steam, the web and mobile.
